Biography

Jill Honeycutt received her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Communication from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She joined the Texas A&M University faculty full-time in 2016. With 12+ years of experience in branding and design methodologies, she brings extensive knowledge based on tactile problem solving, specifically in design education. With outstanding performance reviews throughout her career at TAMU, she applies her tactile problem-solving to engage students in critical design thinking. She is the faculty advisor for the AIGA (The Professional Association for Design) Student Chapter at Texas A&M University. She continues to work in progressive 2D design in the industry.

Scholarly Interests

Design, typography, illustration, layout design and overall visual communication. In addition to teaching design, Jill is the AIGA Student chapter faculty advisor. Graphic designer by trade and a treasure hunter by nature. She is a lover of pretty things and has a deep appreciate for ampersands.
