Study Abroad/Exchange Scholarships

School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts majors who are part of a study aboard or study exchange program sponsored by or part of a major within the School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts and the TAMU Education Abroad Office are eligible.

Requirements

Must be current Texas A&M sophomore, junior or senior during time of expected travel

Minimum GPR, Undergraduate Student: 2.5

Full-time student in the School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts.

Undergraduate Students: Enrolled in 12 credit hours at Texas A&M University and declared major in School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts.

Steps to Apply and Application Deadline

Complete an application for any study abroad in 2024 (Spring 2024/Summer 2024/Fall 2024) and submit it along with other criteria as noted below.

Current Texas A&M School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts students should complete the application and return it along with your cover letter, resume, responses to prompted questions, and a 1- to 2-page self-reflective essay.

For those studying abroad in spring 2024, applications are due October 31, 2023, midnight. For those studying abroad in summer 2024, applications are due November 30, 2023, midnight. For those studying abroad in fall 2024, applications are due March 31, 2024, midnight. Please submit all criteria in one email to johnabinajm@tamu.edu. Please note in the subject line your full name and the name of the scholarship you are applying for. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Notification of awarded funds will occur 1-2 months after the deadline.
