The School of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts houses three undergraduate minors.
The art minor allows you to explore your creative side though traditional or new media. In this program, you will develop your skills through practice of the visual arts in your chosen format.
The minor in dance enhances a visual and performing arts educational experience. Students obtain the tools necessary to teach, choreograph and direct dance performances in high schools, private studios, performance groups and more.
The minor in film studies prepares students to think and write critically about fim and media from multiple perspectives. The minor connects a student’s major field of study with an understanding of film’s cultural and social significance.
The minor in game design and development offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill associated with the aesthetic and technical aspects of interactive media. In collaboration with other students, you will learn core competencies as well as engage in creative problem solving.
The minor in performance studies cultivates an analytical perspective about the role and meaning of performance in global culture. Students widen their horizons through studying performance and the practice of performance itself.
