Biography

Felice House is a figurative painter whose portraits of women challenge traditional representations in art and culture by reimagining narratives of gender and power. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is held in collections including the Booth Museum of Western Art, New Mexico State University, Google Headquarters and Prentice Women’s Hospital. She has been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur, BBC News and Vice’s The Creators Project. House holds degrees from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, the University of Texas and Texas A&M, where she is an associate professor in the Visualization program.
