Matching Gifts
You may be able to increase the amount of your gift by taking advantage of a corporate matching program. Several companies offer retirees and widowers of employees the same matching gift opportunities they offer current employees.
If your employer offers matching gifts, you may be able to make a larger donation to the Texas A&M College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts without further reducing your own assets and still receive a charitable deduction for the amount you give.
Each qualifying employer has a slightly different process and deadline, so be sure to check with your HR department for details.

Honorary & Memorial Gifts
A gift in memory or in honor of a relative, friend, student, professor, or teacher is a generous and thoughtful way to recognize a person’s life and accomplishments. When you make an honorary or memorial gift, the Texas A&M Foundation will notify the honoree or next of kin, and the gift is used as you specified.

Giving Areas
Music Instrument Sponsorships
As the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts seeks to enhance its music program, you can play a part in helping students expand their musical abilities and prepare for careers in the industry. Sponsoring an instrument will provide top-quality equipment for Aggies to hone their skills, while creating a scholarship can help high-achieving students pursue their musical goals in Aggieland. You can also help the school attract and retain top faculty members through a faculty fellowship, professorship, chair or artist in residency.
Excellence Fund
Excellence funds at the college or department level provide funds to meet unanticipated needs that arise in the areas of student, faculty and program support.
Faculty Impact
The College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts is committed to creating an environment in which faculty feel inspired and enabled to reach their full potential through academic freedom.
With a gift of an endowment benefiting the School of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts, you can help attract high-quality faculty to the university, increase retention, and enhance creativity and productivity.
Only the interest earned on endowments are distributed, so your gift establishing a faculty fellowship or chair will assist faculty in perpetuity.
Student Impact
Student scholarships and fellowships change lives and enrich the student body. Whether funding an undergraduate scholarship, a graduate fellowship, or supporting study away experiences, how you support students is a personal decision with equally personal rewards. Our scholarship and fellowship programs offer special opportunities for donors and students to get to know one another.
Program and Facilities Impact
Exceptional programs and facilities attract and retain exceptional faculty, who, in turn, attract the best graduate and undergraduate students.
“College Impact” means your gift will benefit a specific Texas A&M college, department or other administrative unit. These gifts often affect an entire college and can include those directed toward construction, renovation or equipping a lab.
Consider making an endowed gift to the Foundation. Because we only distribute the earnings on your investment, endowments impact Texas A&M academics forever.
