Join us April 14 for the next event in Lovett’s Hagler Fellow residency: a screening and discussion of “Immediate Family,” a 2022 documentary by Danny Tedesco.
More than 100 students will perform over the course of the week in styles that range from traditional solo and ensembles to interarts and emerging areas in music technology.
The students will perform it as part of the Crescendo showcase on April 8 at 2 p.m. in the Black Box Theater in the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building.
The series provides students an opportunity to perform music they have worked on throughout the semester.
All are welcome to attend the event from 10:20 to 11:10 a.m. at the Black Box Theater in the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building.
The film details the history of the legendary venue in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, where Texas singer-songwriters found a home early on in their careers.
