Application Details

Undergraduate or graduate students who are currently engaged in scholarly or creative work research within the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts are eligible. Research may also include independent research through the LAUNCH Program; faculty-led research; or independent, student-led research. Funds may be used for supplies, equipment, software, fabric or music rights as needed to conduct research. Funds may not be used for tuition. You may be required to send links to pvfascholarships@tamu.edu to allow the scholarship coordinator to make purchases.

Requirements

  • Minimum GPR
    • Undergraduate Students: 3.0
    • Graduate Students: 3.5
  • Full-time student in the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts
    • Undergraduate Students: Enrolled in 12 credit hours at Texas A&M University and declared major in the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts.
    • Graduate Students: Enrolled in 9 credit hours at Texas A&M University and declared major in the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts.

Steps to Apply and Application Deadline

Step One

Complete an application and submit it along with other criteria as noted below.

  • Current students in the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts should complete the application and return it along with your cover page, resume and a one- to two-page essay including the description of your research; progress and plans; the purpose and benefit; links to costs; and how these funds will assist you on your research journey.

Step Two

There is no deadline for this scholarship, as it is ongoing. Applications will be accepted throughout the academic year.Z Please submit all criteria through the form below. Send all documents as a PDF. Notification typically occurs within 3-4 weeks upon receiving your application.
