Scholarship Application Details

Texas A&M students majoring in an undergraduate or graduate degree within the College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts are eligible for college-wide scholarships. These are tuition-applied scholarships, spread between the fall and spring semesters.

These scholarship funds for the academic year are awarded one time but will be divided between fall and spring semesters. For example, if you receive a $500 scholarship, you will receive $250 in the fall and $250 in the spring semester if you remain in good academic standing (3.0 or higher for undergraduate and 3.5 or higher for graduate).

Requirements

  • Minimum GPR
    • Undergraduate Student: 3.0
    • Graduate Student: 3.5
  • Full-time student in the College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts
    • Undergraduate Students: Enrolled in 12 credit hours at Texas A&M University and declared major in PVFA
    • Graduate Students: Enrolled in 9 credit hours at Texas A&M University and declared major in PVFA

Steps to Apply and Application Deadline

Submissions for College Level/Program Level applications for academic school year 2025-2026 (Fall 2025/Spring 2026) have closed. Submissions for College Level/Program Level applications for academic school year 2026-2027 (Fall 2026/Spring 2027) are now open.

Step One

Complete an application for PVFA College Level/Academic Program Level Scholarships taking effect in academic school year 2026-2027 (Fall 2026/Spring 2027) and submit it along with other criteria as noted below.

  • All current and incoming Texas A&M students must complete the application and submit it along with your cover page, resume, responses to prompted questions and a one- to two-page self-reflective essay.

Step Two

Students must submit their application by the deadline below:

  • Currently enrolled A&M undergraduate and graduate students must submit applications no later than February 28, 2026.
  • Incoming undergraduate freshmen must submit applications no later than March 31, 2026.
  • Incoming graduate students and incoming undergraduate transfer students must submit applications no later than April 30, 2026.
