Visualization Team
Graduate Student, Eman Al-Zubeidi, is working with a team of undergraduates under the supervision of Dr. Jinsil Hwaryoung Seo, Associate Professor, and Caleb Kicklighter, Lecturer and Research Advisor, from the Department of Visualization. Amanda Blettner (sophomore), Julia DeLaney (sophomore), and Connor Bugni (junior) have a keen interest in developing interactive, technical, and conceptual skills for projection-mapped performance art. The team’s collaborative effort focuses on creating time-based visual and interactive art that will accompany and elevate the dance performance choreographed by Carisa Armstrong and Christine Bergeron. The team’s main goal is to engage the live audience in an immersive experience through the use of projection-mapping and interactive design techniques that integrate impactful audience and dancer interactions, 2D traditional art, and 3D procedural art.
