The inaugural LoreFest brought students to Downtown Bryan for three nights of storytelling, folklore, puppetry and performances. The event was created by Performance and Visual Studies instructors Dr. Matthew Campbell, associate program director, and Dr. Will Connor, lecturer.

Students in the Performance and Visual Studies program have many opportunities to engage with professional performers. In Fall 2023, students in Dr. Kim Kattari’s and Dr. Will Connor’s classes worked with an electronic music composer, IOSIS. Students explored drone-based music and participated in a performance at the conclusion of his visit.
