Pilates Minor

Minor Overview
The Pilates minor will prepare students to gain knowledge and teach Pilates in health and fitness clubs, private studios or other wellness programs. In addition to the fitness industry, many physical therapists, athletic trainers and rehabilitation specialists incorporate Pilates into their practice. The required courses cover personal practice, observations, assisted teaching and teaching. Upon completion of the minor, students will be able to gain certification through a national certification test.
