Digital, traditional art by visualization students on display
Viz-a-GoGo 27, the annual showcase of the best artistic wizardry conjured by visualization students during the 2019-2020 academic year, is on display online.
It’s a impressive tour through the wide variety of artistic/technical work by viz students: video games, sculpture, traditional and digital “flatwork,” photography, graphic design, and more.
The popular event traditionally takes place at the end of each spring semester, but was moved online due to the pandemic.
Viz-a-GoGo’s main event, a screening of time-based work, debuted live online Oct. 3 and is available to view on YouTube. The screening includes short animated and video features, works in progress, and class studies of specific animation and special effects techniques.
