A Special Invite

Todesmärsche, an excerpt from But Where There’s Hope, There’s Life, has been invited to perform at Texas State’s Opening Door Dance Theatre concert in October. Due to COVID, the performance is taking on a virtual format this year. Vishwanand Shetti is editing the film version of Todesmärsche for this event and our premiere of But Where There’s Hope, There’s Life in Downtown Bryan in November. The mission of Opening Door Dance Theatre is to bring the vast scope of modern dance to Texas State University, San Marcos and the surrounding area communities. Choreographer, Carisa Armstrong, attended Texas State as an undergraduate student in exercise science with an emphasis in dance, so bringing this work back to her alma mater has special meaning.
