About the Summer Dance Intensive

Texas A&M Collegiate Summer Dance Intensive provides serious dancers the opportunity to prepare for dance at the collegiate and pre-professional level. We seek to improve the technique, performance quality, anatomical awareness and strength of dancers who wish to pursue dance at the collegiate level and beyond.

Students will gain insight into campus life and the Dance Science program at Texas A&M University.

Students will stay in university dormitories, walk our vast campus, and work closely with dance faculty. Each day will include various classes in ballet, modern and wellness (yoga, Pilates, etc.) as well as improvisation and choreography as taught by Texas A&M dance faculty and other professional guests.

There will be an informal performance on the last day of the intensive to which parents are invited. The performance will have limited seating; please limit attendees to two per dancer.
