The film details the history of the legendary venue in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, where Texas singer-songwriters found a home early on in their careers.
The shows are Feb. 19 and 20 at 7 p.m., and Feb. 21 at 1:30 and 7 p.m. at the Black Box Theater, Room 207, in the Physical Education Activity Program Building.
The exhibition starts Friday and continues through Feb. 28 at the Kimbell Cultural Event Center in Downtown Bryan.
The event featured a block-party-style atmosphere on the courtyard of the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building.
“Making Meadows” includes photographic collage works on rice paper ranging in scale with imagery of grass, wildflowers and insects.
Lovett visited multiple classes, sharing his insight on songwriting, playing guitar and developing a distinctive voice.
Former student Shelley Eubanks Potter made the donation, with instruments curated by fellow Aggie Jeff Potter.
