This area of distinction combines traditional visual arts, craft, experimental film and digital storytelling to explore identity, nature, place, feminism and visual heritage through tangible and symbolic media. Faculty create work and conduct research in experimental animation, book arts, gender narratives, archives, speculative fiction, adornment, climate data and analog-digital hybrids.
