Call For Entries
The Institute for Applied Creativity (IAC) at Texas A&M University proudly announces the call for submissions for the inaugural Field of View: 360 Video Festival. This pioneering event invites artists, creative minds and technologists to explore the transformative potential of 360-degree video technology with a focus on immersive storytelling.
If your 360 video is selected as a finalist, it will be showcased in the state-of-the-art Igloo 360 cylindrical projection system at Texas A&M University, and within a virtual environment. Viewers will be able to experience your work via livestream on web browsers and through VR headsets, providing a broad and accessible audience for your innovative creations.

Eligibility
The Field of View: 360 Video Festival is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. There are no restrictions on whether your film has previously been screened online or at other film festivals.
Submission Categories
We accept 360-degree videos in these categories from any country:
- Narrative
- Documentary
- Experimental
- Education and Research
- Screendance

Entry Fee
There is no fee; all submissions are free.
Acceptance And Awards
Artists will be notified of acceptance on Oct. 16, 2024.
There will be six awards.
- Best in Narrative ($500)
- Best in Documentary ($500)
- Best in Experimental ($500)
- Best in Education and Research ($500)
- Best in Screendance ($500)
- Best Student Work ($500)

Location: Igloo Studio at Texas A&M University and other virtual reality space.
Please note: The Igloo Studio will be closed during Thanksgiving.
