Visualization Student, Olympic Medal Winner: Casey Kaufhold Earns Bronze In Archery Mixed-Team Competition

Congratulations to Visualization student Casey Kaufhold, who won a bronze medal Friday with Brady Ellison in the archery mixed-team competition in the Olympic Games in Paris.

Kaufhold, who took a year off from her studies to train, is the first woman to win an Olympic archery medal for the United States since 1988.

“We feel awesome winning bronze today,” Kaufhold told USA Archery. “We worked really hard for this and put a lot of time and effort into it.”
