    Focusing on installation artist Isaac Julien, director Martin Scorsese and multimedia artist Douglas Gordon, this lecture by art historian Margot Bouman, art historian at The New School in New York, will explore the creative practice of "sampling," where artists in different media incorporate pre-existing cultural works and artistic objects into their own, in the service of aesthetic production addressing masculine identity.
