
Small Ensembles and Trombone Choir Fall Concert

The Small Ensembles and Trombone Choir, coached by David Wilborn and James Van Zandt, present their annual fall semester concert. The performance will open with the Saxophone Quartet. Selections include a string quartet arrangement of “Nepomuk’s Dance” by Marcelo Zarvos, followed by the third movement of “Worthless” by Jeffrey Loeffert. The Horn Octet will perform “Farewell to Red Castle” by Kerry Turner and a student arrangement of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” by John Williams.
The concert will finish with selections by the 33-member Trombone Choir, including arrangements and original works by JS Bach, Martin Luther, Jimmy Webb, Vaclav Nelhybel, Cesar Franck, Andrew Markel, Tommy Pederson and Franz von Suppé.
