Felice House, ‘Re-Western’

Felice House, associate professor, will be exhibiting selections from her acclaimed “Re-Western” series through Nov. 15 at The Kimbell Cultural Event Center in Bryan.

“Re-Western” features large-scale portraits that reimagine male characters in Western films as women, challenging myths of the American West. Among the oil paintings on display are reimagined movie posters for “Giant” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” with women replacing James Dean and Clint Eastwood.
