‘What If Day’

“What If Day” highlights emerging research and creative technology within the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts. Attendees will experience interactive demonstrations in virtual reality, robotics, artificial intelligence, motion tracking, digital twins and immersive systems led by faculty and researchers.
The event begins with hands-on demos where participants can explore projects including HoloLens AR applications, projection mapping with LiDAR, gesture-based interfaces, mixed-reality environments, rehab games, conversational AI, wearable systems and more. These presentations showcase the innovative technologies shaping the future of performance, design and creative practice.
Following the demos, faculty-led discussions will offer insights into research, collaborations and real-world applications, featuring Edgar J. Rojas-Muñoz, You-Jin Kim, Bryan Kim, Jian Tao, Stewart Ziff, Wai Tong, Michael Bruner, Suryansh Kumar, Jinsil Hwaryoung Seo and Joel Zika.
