This exhibition by Hillerbrand+Magsamen, a husband-wife team based in Houston, brings together sculptural, photographic and time-based works that explore the relationship between the domestic sphere and systems of thought, belief and care. Everyday materials are reconfigured into forms that suggest both ritual and experiment, reflecting on how the ordinary can become a site of transformation. Through processes of repetition, accumulation, and play, the works consider how we organize chaos, measure time, and give shape to memory.
