Emerging Composers’ New Works Showcase

Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Black Box Theater in the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building.
Students in MUSC 235: Introduction to Composition will present their final projects in a vibrant showcase of original work. Each piece is a newly crafted musical composition scored for a wide range of instrumental combinations, reflecting the students’ developing voices, creativity and exploration of contemporary musical ideas.
Throughout the course, students have experimented with musical form, texture and color. Enjoy an evening of creativity, discovery and community as our newest composers present their culminating projects and share the joy of bringing new music into the world.
