‘Echoes of Justice’
March 26 @ 7:30 pm – March 29 @ 9:00 pm

“Echoes of Justice” is the Theatre program’s first student-led devised production, asking what happens when theatre itself becomes dangerous in the context of queer censorship. Set in the 1920s, the play follows a fictional theatre troupe as they rehearse and perform a new work that draws increasing public attention. What begins onstage soon extends beyond the theatre, leading to arrests and public backlash. The story ultimately culminates in a courtroom trial constructed from real U.S. censorship cases.
The performance is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
Tickets are $11.50 and $6 for students available at the MSC Box Office.
All performances are in the Black Box at the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building.
