Curriculum
The minor in Performance Studies consists of 18 semester credit hours. It can fit easily with a variety of degree plans. The minor consists of:
- One required course (PERF 101 — Introduction to Performance Studies)
- A choice of a seminar
- Four electives
Because Performance Studies combines theory and practice, our courses combine scholarly research and creative performance. You will select seminars and electives that engage with your own particular academic and artistic interests. In addition to being introduced to the theory of the discipline, you will analyze and create live performance in your classes.
