Choreography
The choreography minor allows students to expand their knowledge of music, movement exploration, choreographic principles and dance production. The capstone of this minor is a self-produced concert giving students experience in all aspects of producing a concert. These skills are valuable for students who become dance educators, choreographers or artistic directors.

Dance Performance
The dance performance minor allows students to expand their technical training through additional technique classes, conditioning and music for dancers. The skills honed through this minor are valuable for students who become professional dancers or dance educators.

Devised Theatre
The minor in devised theatre provides the essential skills to develop and mount original works of theatre, enabling artists from varied fields to add theatrical practice to their repertoire, and build performance into their art and scholarship.

Film and Media Studies
The minor in film and media studies prepares students to think and write critically about film and media from multiple perspectives. The minor connects a student’s major field of study with an understanding of film’s cultural and social significance.

Game Design & Development
The minor in game design and development offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill associated with the aesthetic and technical aspects of interactive media. In collaboration with other students, you will learn core competencies as well as engage in creative problem solving.

Graphic Design
The graphic design minor allows you to specialize in design foundations. The minor is designed to provide students with a general understanding of typography, the use of image and color, layout, relevant software skills and the language of graphic design.

Music
The minor in music gives students the opportunity to pursue musical interests while developing skills and exploring the history and context of music. Students will develop a fundamental understanding of music through introductory music theory, musicianship and music history, with opportunities to perform, to develop skills on their preferred instrument(s), and/or to learn new instruments and styles.

Music Technology
The minor in music technology guides students in exploring new approaches to musical expression through technology-based live performance, fixed media art, installation art and interdisciplinary creative work. Students develop their creative voices as 21st century musicians using technology expressively.

Performance Studies
The minor in performance studies cultivates an analytical perspective about the role and meaning of performance in global culture. Students widen their horizons through studying performance and the practice of performance itself.

Studio Art
The studio art minor allows you to explore your creative side through the combination of art and digital tools. In this program you will develop and hone your skills through practice of the visual arts in multiple mediums.

Virtual Production
Virtual production has become common in entertainment media production, and its use is expanding into areas including architectural/engineering visualization, manufacturing, product design, simulation and training, and live performances. The curriculum includes virtual production techniques, storyboarding, visual computing, lighting and cinematography.
aggieTEACH SEED Minor
The aggieTEACH SEED Minor provides teacher certification for TAMU undergraduates interested in teaching middle or high school dance. You will potentially begin teaching with full pay and benefits within just a few months of graduation. Students must be dance majors to declare the SEED minor for dance.
