‘Whirlwind’

“Whirlwind” is an electrifying dance concert featuring original works by students who who have developed their own choreographic voices in the Concert Choreography course: Elizabeth Drake (“Sass-a-Frass,” bursting with energy and joy); Carissa Mathiason (“Ascent of the Wings,” which finds inspiration from the motion of birds and how they migrate); and Macey Vasquez, whose piece aims to create works where the audience feels the body thinking.
Audiences can expect an evening of powerful storytelling, innovative movement and emotional depth.
