Wright Gallery: Margaret Smithers-Crump, ‘Tapestries of Kinship’

Through paintings and sculptural installations created using recycled plexiglass, polycarbonate and other found materials, Houston-based artist Margaret Smithers-Crump explores the critical relationships between water, soil, fungi and plants, and the vitally important role they play in maintaining the health of our planet.

Wright Gallery is in the Langford Architecture Center Building A, Room 212. It is open Monday–Thursday from 8 a.m.–7:45 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Free and open to the public.
