BIOGRAPHY
Donald House was a founding member of the Department of Visualization, where for 16 years he played a key role in the development of the Visualization Graduate Program. He left TAMU to become the founding Chair of the Division of Visual Computing in the School of Computing at Clemson University until his retirement. Recently, he has returned to TAMU as a Senior Professor, assisting with curriculum development in Visualization.

Scholarly Interests
- All aspects of Computer Graphics, particularly in Physically Based techniques in modeling and animation. His most recognized work in that area was modeling cloth draping. His most recent research efforts have focused on perceptual issues in visualization, especially in the visualization of uncertainty in data and predictions. His doctoral research was in computational neuroscience, investigating neural-computational mechanisms underlying depth perception and visuo-motor coordination in anuran amphibians (frogs and toads).
