Biography
Rebecca Pugh is a visual artist sharing her time teaching and serving as the director of Wright Gallery. The artist has held solo exhibitions including “Fences and Fields” at the Dougherty Art Center in Austin; “Perimeters” at Clark County Government Center’s Rotunda Gallery; and “Parallels” at the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery in Las Vegas.
Pugh’s work has been featured in such national and international juried exhibitions as the Amarillo Museum of Art’s Biennial 600; Marfa Invitational Open; and the National Juried Painting Exhibition at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her conceptual painting installation of birds titled “HERE TODAY, GONE TOMORROW” was selected for the international juried exhibition “Birds in Art 2024” at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin, and a subsequent traveling exhibition to venues in three states in 2025.
