‘Momentums’: Master of Fine Arts in Dance Student Showcase

“Momentums” is an evening of original choreography by first-year Master of Fine Arts students in the Dance program as they begin their creative journey toward their thesis projects. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 and 25 in Room 207 of the Physical Education Activity Program Building.

Over the course of six weeks, the cohort developed new choreographic works and produced the entire performance— from lighting design and technical operations to marketing, costuming and program creation. The process showcases their artistry, collaboration and dedication to the craft of dance-making.

Drawing from a variety of personal, cultural and artistic influences, these emerging choreographers present works that reflect their individual voices and perspectives.

Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for general admission.
