Karen Hillier, ‘BRAZOSbrazos’
August 6 – December 19

“BRAZOSbrazos” showcases professor emerita Karen Hillier’s decade-long exploration of the Brazos River bottom, capturing its shifting beauty and complexity through stereo pinhole photography. Hillier’s connection to the region grew from her childhood in Bryan, where she observed the care and stewardship of local farming families. The exhibition reflects both the agricultural communities that shape the land and the broader forces of time and nature that transform it.
“BRAZOSbrazos” is on display through Dec. 19 in the James R. Reynolds Gallery in the Memorial Student Center. An exhibition reception will be held on Oct. 1, 2025.
James R. Reynolds Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.–8 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday from noon–6 p.m.
