SUMMARY:'Performance Dork'
DESCRIPTION:The Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts presents “Performance Dork\,” a weird and wild explosion of magic\, role play and experimental performance art. Daniel Oliver and his collaborator Andy Spinkle (performed by Claudia Palazzo) have a bottle of magic green liquid that allows them to escape into calamitously constructed fantasy worlds. This leads to a series of participatory experiences that embrace Daniel’s off-kilter relationships with mess\, bodies\, awkwardness and overwhelm. This is an immersive show about unmasking; neurodivergent joy; and the pains and pleasures of getting caught up in other peoples’ dreams.Note: This event is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
