‘Fresh Forward IV’ Exhibition Highlights Student Work From Summer 2025 Through Spring 2026
A closing reception will be held on Sept. 9 at 3 p.m., which will include awards for "Best in Show” and honorable mention from each college.

An exhibition of student work continues through Sept. 11 at Wright Gallery in the Langford Architecture Center, Building A.
“Fresh Forward IV” features student projects from the Texas A&M College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts and the College of Architecture from summer 2025 through spring 2026.
Rebecca Pugh, instructional assistant professor and Wright Gallery curator, said the exhibition features 58 physical projects of two-dimensional and three-dimensional structure, alongside 30 digital projects created by 199 students and submitted by 19 faculty members from both colleges.
“I’m grateful to colleagues in both colleges for submitting some of the best student work from their recent classes,” Pugh said.
The College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts presents 29 physical works and 28 time-based media projects created by 72 students, Pugh said.
The HIVE, a student group in the Visualization program that manages program events, shared the Viz-a-GoGo 33 film reel for the exhibition, which is on display. The reel includes animated shorts, live-action videos, stop-motion films, game trailers, graphic design commercials and time-based media.
The College of Architecture presents 29 architectural models made by 125 students, and two digital scale design projects, Pugh said.
“With help from two part-time student workers at Wright Gallery, it was a great effort to coordinate all the exhibition details from installation to creating custom gallery labels for all the physical works inside the gallery,” Pugh said.
A closing reception will be held on Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. in Wright Gallery, which will include awards for “Best in Show” and honorable mention from each college.
