‘Momentum’ Performances To Showcase Choreography By Graduate Dance Students
The shows are April 9-11 at 7 p.m. at the Black Box Theater, Room 207, in the Physical Education Activity Program Building.

“Momentum,” the second-annual showcase of work produced by students in the Master of Fine Arts in Dance program, will include eight choreographed pieces April 9-11.
The shows are at 7 p.m. at the Black Box Theater, Room 207, in the Physical Education Activity Program Building. Tickets are $11.50 for general admission and $7 for students, available at the MSC Box Office website.
The show will feature six live dances and two screendance works. Performances were choreographed by Mark Aguilar, Jasmine Jaramillo, Sophie Jordan, Grant McGee, Grace Rogers, Elizabeth Stamatio-Hernandez and Mia Tatum.
Andee Scott, M.F.A., academic graduate program director and associate professor, said “Momentum” showcases the students’ artistry and dedication to expression. The work reflects their worldview, she said, and she is proud to support their artistic voice.
“I am so excited for people to experience the choreography of the graduate students in Dance here at the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts,” Scott said. “They have worked so hard on this show, both onstage and behind the scenes.”
