Throughout Aggieland Saturday on Feb. 28, prospective students and families explored the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts.

During the welcome presentation, Dean Tim McLaughlin said he was excited to showcase what the college has to offer.

“We want to share with you what we believe in,” he said. “It’s an approach to the arts you won’t find anywhere else. We want students to imagine a future that is beyond what we can imagine.”

Visitors participated in hands-on activities and interactive experiences, including a drawing workshop, costume-shop crafts and displays of wearable arts. They toured the college’s facilities and attended informational program sessions.

Current students performed a music, dance and theatre showcase in the Black Box Theater, and Maroon Steel and students in the Music program performed in the courtyard of the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building.
