During the spring semester of 2020, the Department of Performance Studies collaborated with the Department of Dance and the History Department to produce an original, site-specific, performance in downtown Bryan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The students in THAR 110 (Acting I) devised original theatrical moments of performance to complement the pieces created by the Department of Dance. These moments were performed individually and in groups, and functioned as interactive elements to guide audience members on their journey through the show. The moments were created during the first two months of the semester using The Tectonic Theatre Company\u2019s Moment Work techniques. The students took primary sources provided by Dr. Seipp of the History Department, and adapted them into their devised performances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
