SUMMARY:Karen Hillier\, 'BRAZOSbrazos'
DESCRIPTION:Karen Hillier\, Stereo Photography\n“BRAZOSbrazos” showcases professor emerita Karen Hillier’s decade-long exploration of the Brazos River bottom\, capturing its shifting beauty and complexity through stereo pinhole photography. Hillier’s connection to the region grew from her childhood in Bryan\, where she observed the care and stewardship of local farming families. The exhibition reflects both the agricultural communities that shape the land and the broader forces of time and nature that transform it.“BRAZOSbrazos” is on display through Dec. 19 in the James R. Reynolds Gallery in the Memorial Student Center. An exhibition reception will be held on Oct. 1\, 2025.James R. Reynolds Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.–8 p.m.\, and Saturday-Sunday from noon–6 p.m.

SUMMARY:Emilie Duval\, ‘In Digital Elysium: Architectures of a New Reality’
DESCRIPTION:On display through Jan. 15 at Wright Gallery in the Langford Architecture Center\, Building A. Emilie Duval is a multidisciplinary artist whose abstractions of midcentury architecture are layered with fragmented perspectives that blur the boundaries between what’s real and virtual. In painting\, sculpture and animation\, she explores tension between physical and digital entities in her scenes of abstracted midcentury modern architecture and bright landscapes with mountains and palm trees. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

SUMMARY:Auditions for 'Echoes of Justice'
DESCRIPTION:The Theatre program is seeking students to join the cast and crew of “Echoes of Justice\,” the first student-led devised production in the B.F.A. program. This original play explores censorship\, queerness and the power of performance\, following a 1920s troupe whose latest work lands them in a courtroom trial drawn from real U.S. cases. Students only need to attend one night and should prepare a 1- to 2-minute monologue. The process will also include a short conversation about the themes of the show. All students are welcome to audition\, regardless of theatre experience. Students interested in crew positions do not need to audition and can indicate their interest through the form and will be contacted with more details about available roles. All students — cast and crew — must complete the interest form to participate. Performances of “Echoes of Justice” will run March 26-29\, 2026\, at the Black Box Theatre\, LAAH.
