DESCRIPTION:Karen Hillier\, Stereo Photography\n“BRAZOSbrazos” showcases professor emerita Karen Hillier’s decade-long exploration of the Brazos River bottom\, capturing its shifting beauty and complexity through stereo pinhole photography. Hillier’s connection to the region grew from her childhood in Bryan\, where she observed the care and stewardship of local farming families. The exhibition reflects both the agricultural communities that shape the land and the broader forces of time and nature that transform it.“BRAZOSbrazos” is on display through Dec. 19 in the James R. Reynolds Gallery in the Memorial Student Center. An exhibition reception will be held on Oct. 1\, 2025.James R. Reynolds Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.–8 p.m.\, and Saturday-Sunday from noon–6 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:Fruzsina Nagy’s exhibition “In the Waves of Mekong” on display at the J. Wayne Stark Galleries at Texas A&M University on Sep. 17\, 2025. (Justin Kling/Texas A&M College of Performance\, Visualization and Fine Arts)Costume designer and visual theatre director Fruzsina Nagy will present an exhibition of her work through Oct. 31. Nagy was selected for the second-annual New Work Development Artist Residency. Nagy’s installation features three intricate costumes inspired by the story of Beth Lo\, a Hmong refugee living in the United States. The installation also features a soundscape by Lynn Vartan\, associate professor\, and video work by Tim Weaver\, instructional associate professor. J. Wayne Stark Galleries is in the Memorial Student Center. It is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.–6 p.m.\, and Saturday-Sunday from noon–6 p.m.
