Ignition Jam: Freestyle Dance Competition

This celebration of hip-hop culture is in the courtyard of the Liberal Arts and Arts & Humanities Building, hosted by the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts and student organizations F.U.S.D. and Album of the Week. 

It features a 3-versus-3 freestyle dance competition featuring professional DJs and MCs; a freestyle workshop led by Austin-based choreographer Sean Choi; and performances by local band Ultraviolet between the competition rounds.

Visitors can join music discussion activities hosted by Album of the Week, participate in audience voting and browse a variety of local vendors.
