‘Fragments: A Choreography Capstone Concert’
April 23 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
April 23 and 25 at 7 p.m. at the Physical Education Activity Program Building, Black Box, Room 207. Tickets are $6 through the MSC Box Office. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $5 — no cash.
“Fragments” is a dance concert created, performed and run by the undergraduate students in the Dance Science program, with guidance from faculty Diane Bedford and Carisa Armstrong.
Among the choreographic works in the concert are two from undergraduate students Kambree Beavers and Rylee Braun. Among other works, Beavers will be showcasing an expanded work called “Pendulum,” which is inspired by physics. Braun will feature a work titled “abandon, adrift,” in which her cast commits to a stiff and reverberated texture as they maintain a unique shape formed by the connection of each dancer.
