Emerging Composers’ New Works Showcase

This showcase presents premieres by rising student composers including Alyssa Kitchens, Matthew Trevino, Myles Murphy, Grace Lunsford, Ricky Miller and Duke Blaney. 

The program features chamber, choral and contemporary ensemble works such as “Beelzebuds,” video game score for mixed ensemble with winds, strings, piano and electronics; “Journey of Sentiments” for violin and piano; “Reckoning” for piano trio; “Enlightenment” for choir and string quartet; “Wishful Waves” for violin and vibraphone; and “Goaltender” for rock fusion ensemble.
