Curtis Gannon, ‘Promises of Paper and Paste’ Exhibition

Driven by a love of sequential narrative, Gannon hand-cuts comic books into fragments to build abstract and shaped compositions. Gannon’s solo exhibition features paintings, collage and felt works that reference the visual vocabulary of comics through vibrant color, bold lines and hard-edge shapes.

An artist talk will be held on Sept. 30 from 3 to 4 p.m., followed by the opening reception ending at 5:30 p.m.
